It started with annoyance, not an idea
A scent that disappeared after two hours. A box that felt like packaging. A price that changed every six weeks. There was nothing wrong with the market. There was just nothing in it that lasted.
EL Pasha was founded in Alkmaar in 2022, born from entrepreneurship and a deep-rooted appreciation for craftsmanship. Not from a market opportunity, but from the question of why a perfume that lasts an afternoon is sold as something that should last an evening.
The answer proved simple and uncomfortable. Almost everything in the market is a compromise between cost and impression. A higher percentage of perfume oil costs more, so it is reduced. A limited edition that ends costs revenue, so it is extended. A box that does something with the recipient's hands costs time, so it becomes standard.
This house was built backwards. Every choice that was more expensive was made. Every choice that was faster was rejected.
